Stomp Trio consists of Luke Minness on saxophone, Austin Salisbury on piano and Peter Evans on drums. These musicians reimagine traditional standards for the organ trio format, and all share a love for reactive and conversational music-making.
WA Producer /Saxophonist MINNESS (Luke Minness) originated from country Victoria and moved to WA to complete his Bmus Hon degree at WAAPA. Since then he’s worked as a session musician/producer across Australia writing,collaborating and performing with artists like Drapht, Abbe May, The Cat Empire, Hot Dub Time Machine, Methyl Ethel, Meg Mac and many more.
Luke has now focused on his new group PRISCILLA, performing alongside the likes of T Presets, Haiku Hands, EDEN, Wafia, Woodes and more. MINNESS also landed 3 WAM nominations, the Alan Corbet Prize for young jazz musician of the year and released over 12 albums.
