1. <strong>When is the Perth International Jazz Festival?</strong> 

    The 2023 Perth International Jazz Festival will take place from 27 October – 12 November 2023. Excitingly there are some lead up events that will also be announced via our website.

  2. When will tickets be on sale?

    Some events are already on sale – these are Cécile McLorin Salvant and Lisa Simone. Please head directly to their event pages for ticket links.Tickets for all festival events will go on sale in early September 2023.

  3. How do I purchase tickets?

    Tickets for most events can be purchased online through our ticketing provider – Megatix.Tickets may be purchased through the venue where the event is occurring (subject to availability). 

  4. <strong>Concessions and Companions</strong> 

    Holders of the following valid concession cards are eligible for concession price tickets, where available: Student Card (full-time), Carer Card, Health Care Card, Pension Card, Veterans Affairs Card, and all government-issued Seniors Cards. Concession price tickets also apply to children 16 years and under. For tickets purchased through external ticketing agencies (not through PIJF), different concession rules may apply, please check the venue’s website and terms and conditions for details. Proof of concession is required when purchasing or collecting your tickets and/or on entering the venue. Companion card holders qualify for a complimentary ticket for their companion. In this case, after purchasing your own ticket, please contact Perth International Jazz Festival at [email protected] to arrange for a complimentary companion ticket. 

  5. <strong>How do I receive my tickets?</strong>

    Tickets purchased through Megatix will be emailed to you. If you purchased your tickets through a venue (for example The Ellington Jazz Club) or an authorised seller please contact the point of purchase directly. 

  6. Refunds and Exchanges

    All sales are final. Refunds or exchanges are not possible after purchase except as required by law or in accordance with the LPA Code.

  7. <strong>Will there be conditions of entry to attend the 2023 Perth International Jazz Festival?</strong> 

    The safety of our artists, audiences and staff continues to be our number one priority. We’re following West Australian Government health guidelines and working with our venues to make sure that all events planned as part of the 2022 Festival are COVID-Safe. Audiences are welcome to wear face masks at any PIJF event and practice physical distancing where possible.

  8. How much are Megatix booking fees?

    A booking fee and credit card fee will apply for all tickets purchased via Megatix online. Ticket Price        // Booking Fee    > $0 – $20           // $ 1.50              > $20 – $35         // $ 2.20              > $35                   // $ 2.75              Credit card fees are 30c + 1.3% For tickets purchased through external ticketing agencies (not through PIJF), different fees will apply.
