  • How do I purchase tickets?

The Perth International Jazz Festival is working with ticketing agent, Megatix, to issue tickets to nearly all festival events.

Tickets for all events can be purchased online through our website or on Megatix’s website. Hyperlinks to tickets can be found within all Festival Events on our website.

    Browse our festival events here.

The Ellington Jazz Club will ticket performances at their venue: http://www.ellingtonjazz.com.au/

  • How do I get my tickets?

Tickets purchased through Megatix for the festival will be emailed to you.

If you purchased your tickets through The Ellington Jazz Club, please contact them directly with any questions.

  • Can I get a refund if an event is cancelled?

Every effort will be made to ensure the ‘show goes on’. However in the event that a performance is cancelled you will be offered a full refund minus the booking fee.

  • What happens if it rains?

A lot of our free events are held outdoors and while we are usually lucky with the weather, if we have more than a little bit of rain, we may need to postpone an act. Worst case scenario is having to cancel a festival show.

Keep a close eye on our social media platforms Facebook and Instagram for all updates.

As a last resort the event will be cancelled which will result in a full refund minus booking fee as per ticketing terms & conditions.

  • I would like to remove a photo or video of me

Please contact us with a screenshot of the photo/video you’d like removed. If you can also send us the video timing of your appearance that will help us ensure we can action your request in a timely fashion.

  • Is there seating in each venue?

Unreserved seating and standing space available in all venues including The Rechabite, Forrest Place, The Liberty Theatre, Connections Night Club, Rooftop Venue, Astral Weeks and Hyde Park.

Hyde Park and Jazz by the Jetty at the Busselton Foreshore are outdoor spaces where you can bring a picnic blanket or fold up chair.

Prices vary for seating and standing at The Ellington Jazz Club. Seating can be specified when purchasing a ticket through their website http://www.ellingtonjazz.com.au/

  • Can we bring our own food and drink?

To the events at Hyde Park, Forrest Place and Busselton Foreshore, you can bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages.

There will be a fully licenced bar at the Busselton Foreshore.

There will be food trucks at the Hyde Park event. At Busselton you are very welcome to take advantage of the various local food outlets nearby.

Please do not bring food or drink to the WA Museum venue.

All other venues have fully licensed bars and eating options available.

  • Who do I talk to about sponsorship?

We love working with innovative businesses and organisations! Jazz music is all about collaborating, listening and working together to create something greater than the individuals, PIJF is no different.

If you’re interested in information about partnering with the Perth International Jazz Festival, please contact us to discuss options.

  • Can I buy merchandise?

We will have a range of festival and artist merchandise available at this year’s festival. Come and see us at The Rechabite, Northbridge Piazza, Forrest Place, Hyde Park or Busselton Foreshore to check out what’s available!

  • Companion Card Holders

PIJF offers a second ticket at no cost to Companion Card holders for all events held at The Rechabite, Liberty Theatre, Connections Nightclub and Private Rooftop Venue. Please have your card ready for the ticket collectors and your essential support companion will be admitted at no extra charge.

  • Concession Card Holders

Holders of the following valid concession cards are eligible for concession price tickets, where available: Student Card (full-time), Carer Card, Health Care Card, Pension Card, Veterans Affairs Card, and all government-issued Seniors Cards. Concession price tickets also apply to children 16 years and under.
