Having played music together since primary school, Jayden (saxophone) and Jackson’s (piano) musical connection spans over a decade. The pair studied jazz under mentor James Morrison and both performed as artists at Generations In Jazz, the largest Jazz festival in the Southern Hemisphere, performing alongside the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and jazz giants Gordon Goodwin, Joey DeFrancesco and Kurt Elling.

The pair boast impressive individual resumés as artists, which between them include: Finalist and Winner of the prestigious James Morrison scholarship, Nomination for the Freedman Fellowship, Finalist nomination for WAM composition of the year. Jayden’s debut album was released under the ABC Jazz record label has has received over a million international plays across streaming platforms.

Jackson and Jayden were both selected as members of the Australian National Jazz Orchestra (ANJO), Youth Orchestra for 2022, and performed at the Sydney International Jazz Festival. The Loverboys were also the hosts of “The Jazz Dinner”, which was a sold out show at the Perth International Jazz Festival in 2020 and 2021.
