Pianist Jackson Van Ballegooyen completed his Bachelor of Music at the James Morrison Academy in Mount Gambier, under the tutelage of some of Australia’s finest musicians such as Mat Jodrell, Carl Mackey, Grant Windsor and Ross Irwin. During his studies, Jackson joined Morrison on multiple tours around the country and in 2018 placed as a finalist in the prestigious James Morrison scholarship competition. Jackson graduated with First Class Honours from WAAPA in 2021 and has since been performing with some of Perth’s best musicians.
Trumpet player Pierson Snowsill is an in-demand, young artist residing in Perth. Having returned to Perth after studying at the James Morrison Academy of Music, Pierson is sought after in many ensembles including the Perth Cabaret Collective, New Standards Quintet and The Troublemakers.
