Long-time friends and collaborators Chris Foster (piano) and Nick Abbey (bass) have been performing and writing music together for over 15 years. Having established themselves as two of Perth’s most respected and in-demand jazz musicians, they are particularly fond of the duo format and have held a series of years-long residencies together at venues such as Must Winebar, The Old Swan Brewery, The Hyatt and the Treasury Buildings. In this configuration, they present an engaging mix of stripped-back versions of their award-winning original compositions, a selection of their favourite jazz standards and fun reinterpretations of pop tunes.
