2024 Festival Highlights

October 5: Program Launch

  • Brookfield Place transformed into a NYC-inspired jazz hub, with 2,500+ attendees grooving to performances by the Lachlan Glover Trio and Hanna Kim Trio.

October 6: Jazz in the Square & Jazz Brunch

  • The City of Vincent hosted soulful grooves and brews, culminating in a high-energy party at Yagan Square Amphitheatre with WAAPA’s Django Ensemble and the electrifying Steve Hensby Band.

October 24: esperanza spalding (Sold Out!)

  • Grammy-winning jazz royalty delivered an awe-inspiring performance at the Regal Theatre, leaving a sold-out audience speechless.

October 25: Opening Night at QV1

  • The QV1 Plaza turned into an urban jazz paradise as Nueva Salsa Orchestra, Horns of Leroy, and thndo ignited the stage.

October 26: Carl Cox & Eric Powell’s Mobile Disco

  • Legendary UK artists brought the house down with an electrifying six-hour set—an unforgettable Festival moment!

October 27: Camelot Theatre Debut

  • PIJF debuted at Camelot Theatre with stunning performances by Holli Scott, Japan’s Kira Kira, and local jazz virtuoso Tal Cohen.

November 1–3: Jazz at The Rechabite

  • A jam-packed weekend saw NYC stars and Grammy winners light up The Rechabite Hall, capped by Jazzmeia Horn’s powerhouse performance.

November 9–10: South West Series

  • Jazz by the Jetty (Nov 9): Busselton’s iconic jetty framed performances by The Troublemakers and Gina Williams & Guy Ghouse.
  • Jazz in the Gardens (Nov 10): Aravina Estate welcomed Vince Jones and an unforgettable performance inside Ngilgi Cave by Gina Williams & Guy Ghouse.
