The NYChillharmonic is a Brooklyn-based, 18-piece progressive-jazz orchestra. The music fuses multiple genres including rock, pop, classical, and jazz while sonically embracing unconventional textures, arrangements and harmonies. The result is an ensemble sound like nothing you’ve ever heard before. The core band from New York is composed of bandleader/vocalist Sara McDonald, guitarist Shubh Saran, pianist Liya Grigoryan, bassist Almog Sharvit and drummer Angelo Spampinato.
