For the third year, Jazz in the Gardens brings together the best in life: beautiful surrounds, incredible food and wine, and performances from some of Australia’s finest jazz musicians.

For one afternoon only, escape to Aravina Estate, situated in the stunning Yallingup region and set on 180 acres of expansive rolling hills and vineyards. Bring your picnic rug (or low chair) and set yourself up on the terraced lawn for an afternoon of bliss while enjoying two memorable performances and indulging in local wines and beautifully prepared foods, all available on site.

To begin, you’ll enjoy the tantalising sounds of regular local collaborators Chris Foster on piano and bassist Nick Abbey.

The afternoon’s headline act is a man who needs little introduction to music lovers: Vince Jones. One of Australia’s most revered and beloved jazz musicians, Jones will weave a spell with his mellifluous voice and eloquent trumpet playing that bring emotion and musicianship to the fore. The Vince Jones Quintet will feature longtime collaborator and musical director Matt McMahon (piano), with Sam Anning (double bass), Jamie Oehlers (tenor sax) and Ben Vanderwal (drums). Performing originals and standards, and combined with his innate talent for storytelling, Vince Jones will have you entranced from the moment he walks on stage until his final note hangs in the early evening air.

To make your afternoon even better, why not become a VIP?

VIP ticket holders will enjoy a West Winds Welcome cocktail on arrival and have reserved seating in the garden for Vince Jones.

Don’t miss this beautiful afternoon of music and indulgence in one of the Southwest’s most picturesque settings.
